Ipplepen CC is firmly committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of young people whenever they are involved in club activities. Our club welfare is Jo Steer, who has attended an NSPCC “Safe Hands” workshop as well as undertaking extensive Child Protection training through her job as a Teaching Assistant. In addition to Jo, all of our qualified coaches have attended an approved ‘Safeguarding Young People’ workshop and all club coaches and officials hold an enhanced CRB check.
If any parent or child has any concerns or questions about the wellbeing of any young people engaged in any Ipplepen CC activities, they are encouraged to contact to Jo Steer in confidence. Jo’s contact details can be found on the Colts Section notice board in the clubhouse and in the club Welcome Pack.
All coaches, club officials, spectators and players are asked to sign up to the Club’s “Code of Conducts” which can all be downloaded from the “Downloads and Clubmark” Section of this web site.
