League cricket is a very important part of Ipplepen Cricket Club, selection time for the 1st XI and the 2nd XI is always a difficult time, as we love to give our emerging young cricketers the taste of competivie result driven cricket as soon as possible.
This is great news for the older generations, as they can help bring on the youngsters, but it also serves to keep them focused on their own game to ensure that they perform - otherwise they might be just on the scorebook!
